Artisan Furniture Now Delivering to Canada from US Fulfilment Centre
Artisan Furniture is excited to announce that, effective 1st June 2024, we have expanded our shipping operations to Canada. Our esteemed customers in Canada can now enjoy our range of beautifully crafted furniture, delivered directly from our Fairview, NJ fulfilment centre.
Efficient Delivery Service
Our deliveries to Canada are managed through UPS, ensuring a reliable and timely service. Customers can expect their orders to arrive within 5 days.
Seamless Inventory Management with Free Cross Dock Transfers
In cases where the ordered product is stocked at our other US fulfilment centres in Cranbury, NJ or Perris, CA, we have a robust system in place. These orders will be fulfilled by transferring inventory to Fairview, NJ using cross dock transfers, from where they will be dispatched to various destinations across Canada. Cross docking is provided free of cost to the customer.
Future Expansion Plans
Looking ahead, Artisan Furniture plans to further enhance our service by establishing a dedicated service office in Toronto, ON, and a fulfilment centre in Mississauga, ON by AY 2025-26. This expansion will enable us to offer free deliveries across all ten provinces of Canada, ensuring that our high-quality, handcrafted furniture is accessible to more customers.
Pricing and Shipping Surcharge
Currently, our prices will be offered in US dollars (US$). At the time of checkout, a shipping surcharge will be levied. This surcharge will be clearly indicated during the checkout process.
Sales Tax Implications on Canadian Sales
Currently, Artisan Furniture is outside the tax nexus/threshold for sales tax implications in Canada. Hence, no tax will be levied at the time of checkout. However, this might change without notice at any time in the future, depending on our overall sales to Canada or other compliance reasons.
